While i create a notification for Q2 type in action box i can see request 8D report

While i create a notification for Q1 type in action box i can see Create 8D report

What is the difference between both.... pls explain me the business purpose

while i click in both type of notification types i got preview of report...why it is so?

Case-2 "While i create a notification for Q2 type in action box i can see request 8D report

The 8 Disciplines (8D) process is a problem management tool popularly used in responding to complaints or issues.8D methodology uses a structured eight step approach to problem solving.The output of an 8D process is an 8D report.

Coming to your question:

Q1-Customer Complaint

Q2-Complaint ag. vendor (Vendor Notification)

In case 1 you will be the vendor to your customer and you have to create a 8D report with all details and send to your customer for the defective material supplied by you.

In case 2 you will be the customer and you have to send the request to your vendor for the complaint material supplied by your vendor
