portal working on https

Hi,

We have a situation wherein we are using WDPortalNavigation API in consumer portal that works on https protocol to (access/open) an application that is present in producer portal working on http protocol.

Issue is that on click of button that is mapped to method, nothing seems to be happening (no UI errors/ no errors in the logs/ nothing) however it is been confirmed by placing log entries that at runtime the method does get executed completely.

This issue is in our quality system where as it works fine in our dev1 and dev2 environments.

Can this issue be because of the combination of WDPortalNavigation API and portal working on https trying to access and open the application present in portal that works on http.

Any helpful (suggestions/ pointers) will be highly appreciated.
