Updation of Stock After reversal of Sales Order

Dear Experts,

I have created a sales order for 30,000 TON of cement and dispatched through 500 deliveries in 01.06.2011.

My stock has been reduced.

Now I want to reverse the delivery and cancel the sales order.

If i reverse the delivery on which date my stock will get updated this month or can i give last month date?

Can i create a sles order for last months date/

please help.

Hi

You can do the reversal of delivery using TCode VL09. On running the TCode by entering the delivery no by default current date would come for reversal which you can change it by clicking on Define Date button.

Can I create a Sales Order and Delivery for previous period?

Hi

You can create a Sales order and Delivery in previous date but PGI of goods and Invoice posting can only happen in the period which is open for MM & FI.

Thank you, Yes I am able to create sales order and delivery for the previous month (Month not closed in MM & FI)

Hi,

If you want to cancel the sales order,first reverse the PGI with Tcode VL09 and delete the delivery with VL02N,it will take the present date for cancellation.
