Dear experts,
We are using classic version with SRM 7.0 and ECC 6.0.
Requestor raises 2 Shopping carts with different items....these shopping carts come to Sourcing cockpit. Now can Purchaser combine these 2 SC to create a single PO? Basically we want to assign same supplier to both carts and create 1 PO instead of 2.
I checked, in SOCO there is a check box for "intended for grouping" and this indeed created 1 PO. Am I on right track?
Suggestions?
Best Regards,
John

Hi
PO split upon many factors for eg. vendor , purchase organisation etc.
there is a note on FAQ
split key word search in SRM-EBP-SOC
You will get to know more.

Sourcing Cockpit consists of a four-step wizard:
Select Shopping Carts
In this step, you can search for shopping carts based on specific search criteria. Enter these values by selecting Settings. Here, you can define how the initial search screen should be started. You can choose no preselection, select your own purchasing group, or define default search values. In addition, you can decide if the search should be performed as soon as the screen is opened.
In addition to the search criteria, there are two checkboxes:
Intended for Grouping: If you select this checkbox, the system groups several shopping carts into one purchase order.
Include Locked Items: Locked items are, for example, shopping carts that are being edited by another user. If you do not select this checkbox, the system only displays the items that have no associated document (for example, bid invitation, auction and so on).
