Multiple Inspection Lot getting created for each GR (MB31)

Hi,

We have PP-PI and inspection type 04 active with control inspection lot setting for 04 is "2 - For each material, batch and storage location". So ideally only one inspection lot should get created for this given combination. But while during GR against a process order, inspection lots are getting created for every GR for the same order with the same batch and sLoc. Any help will be appreciated.

If previous inspection lot has already been rejected, new inspection lots are created even if you set up lot summary.

System will not behave in this way

Unless

1.Planned batch changes during GR.

2.Planned storage Location changes during GR.

3.You have planned early Inspection

4.You ahve changed Inspection control before GR creation.

Is there any possibility as stated above...
