Sub-Agreements--Seperate Suppliers

Former Member

Hi,

At the Master Agreement level, I can have one supplier and at the Sub-Agreement level, I can have a different supplier.

Is this a realistic business scenario ? or my setup is an issue.

Pankaj

Hi Pankaj

It is possible in the system to have one supplier in master agreement and a different one in sub agreement. A possible business case for such a scenario could be global outline agreement wherein you maintain local contracts for different geographies with subsidiary supplier companies.

subsidiary companies could be tied to parent supplier company using "Parent " functionality.

Hi Mudit,

Thanks for the reply.

My concern here is , I can have 2 very different suppliers with no relationship between them at Master Agreement and Su-Agreement level.

Hi Pankaj

That is also possible. Just go to master agreement types, choose your agreement type and in Features-> Agreement Folder select Agreements

You can add multiple sub agreement with different vendors as long as you maintain contacts for each of these vendors
