SCOT configuration for Smtp.mail.microsoftonline.com

Hi all,

I had a requirement to configure SCOT in our sap with Smtp.mail.microsoftonline.com SMTP server and we are not going to use our internal domain mail server. Is any one help me here to configure SCOT as its says the TLS security layer authentication enabled and I am not sure much about this one , so please guide me.

Hi,

What you want to do is impossible to do directly because SAP ICM is not able to authenticate on an SMTP Server.

The only solution is to install locally an SMTP relay server which will do the authentication for the SAP ICM.
