IS retail activation for DWMS

Dear Experts

Request your advise on the below

We have a central SAP system which is IS Retail and we are implementing Decentralized WMS in a different system

Do i need to activate IS retail in the DWMS or can i go with standard SAP setup

Hello Anand,

Something it may be interesting to you:

If you use the decentralized Warehouse Management System in conjunction with SAP Retail, inventory postings with empties

management are not possible.

If you use the decentralized Warehouse Management System in conjunction with SAP Retail, the system supports inventory

postings with structured articles if no BOM explosion is intended in the corresponding plant.

About activating IS-RETAIL you may find the information on http://service.sap.com/. If there is no mention about decentralized warehouse then you may go ahead on standard activation.
