WM issue

Hi Guru's

I have configured WM in SD . Plant and storage location is assigned to the warehouse number.

I have created Sales order. But when iam trying to create a delivery in VL01N ,

System displays an error message as " Item to be picked by WM (picking quantity cannot be entered) Message no. VL118".

Mainly when iam entering Storage location, this error is displaying.

Kindly guide me on how to solve this issue.

Hi,

Go to MMSC and see what are the storage location are maintained.

If you are manually entering the storage location which is not there, could throw such error.

If you have more than one storage location manual entry is required, other wise (in case of one storage location) the storage location will be determined automatically by MALA, RETA OR MARE rule which ever is mentioned in storage location determination.

and

as suggested by our another friend, you have to create transfer order by LT03.

Hi Friends

When iam trying to create a Delivery i.e.,in VL01N , in the initial screen itself , iam getting this error.

Transfer order has to be created after saving the delivery document.

Hi,

Have you maintained WM for the material, just check it else go to MM50 and maintain the material for ware house and I think this should resolve your issue.

You will need to pick & confirm the WM transfer order. T-Code LT03
