cFolders Subscribe Option

We have just started to use cFolders. We have a large folder structure within our cFolders collaborations. Our thinking was that the project team would subscribe at the highest level so to receive notifications regarding all folders/documents in the structure. As they received notifications that were not relevant to them, they could then unsubscribe to that partiulcar object. However, the option to unsubscribe does not seem possible as it is greyed-out.

Does anyone know if this is possible and what I would need to do? Many Thanks.

Hi Experts,

what is going wrong if subscription-flag is not saved?

I tried subscribing several folders on different Computers but after setting the flag and saving, the flag disappears again... .

why does this happen?

This behavior is because the inheritance concept kicks-in.All subscriptions enabled at parent level will result in auto-enablement of subscriptions at subsequent child levels.Hence, you would have to judiciously decide at what particular folder level, subscription must be enabled for required recepients.

Hi Dean,

Instead of subscribing the main folder, subscribe the specific folder , from which you want to receive notification. That will help to reduce unnecessary notification.
