URL error while saving MS word 2007 document

Hi,

I have attached a MS word2007 document in txn CV02N, while saving it gives following information message-

Incorrect URL entered for link item data

Message no. SOFFICEINTEGRATION133

Even it is informative message but it doesnt allow to save the DIR.

Can someone throw some light on it?

Could you as well pls post the configuration settings that you have maintained in DC30 transaction for MSWord workstation application?

Hi Pradeep,

DC30 settings are as followed-

Appl (Work station Appl) Description Suffix ArchID Start Auth No Rename File format

DOC MS Office doc Checked Checked .doc,.xls,*ppt

MSO MS Office 2007 doc Checked Checked .docx,.xlsx,*pptx

These are main work station application settings. Details of both are same as shown below-

MIMI Type- application/msword

You cannot rename temporary files- checked

Dialog when overwriting- checked

Data Check Off- not checked

Addnl Files- checked

Contenet Version- checked

In folder "Define Workstationapplication in Network", settings are-

Type Application AT Description Application(Path & prog Name) Path for Sources

PC DOC 1 MS Office %SAP-OFFICE-INTEGRATION.INPLACE%%MAXSIZE%

PC DOC 2 MS Office %SAP-OFFICE-INTEGRATION.INPLACE%%MAXSIZE%

PC DOC 3 MS Office %SAP-OFFICE-INTEGRATION.INPLACE%%MAXSIZE%

Configuration parameters seem to be in order.

Suggest you append * . *(star dot star) value for 'File format' entry and replace %SAP-OFFICE-INTEGRATION.OUTPLACE% %MAXSIZE% with %AUTO% %NO-LEAVE% for 1,2,3 in 'Display WS in network' and re-test the scenario and share the results.
