Restrict fields per Employee Grouping in the Portal

Hi All

We know that we can restrict expense types per Schema.

However, is there an option in T&E config or ESS Config to restrict certain fields on the ESS Portal for different employee groups ?

Need help please.

Sorry for my delayed reply.

Yes, I am aware of the permissibility control in the expense types.

However my requirement was to restrict certain expense types per employee grouping.

I got response from Raynard and yourself that this is not possible in standard SAP. Thank you both.

Hi Rathika

You can restrict the expense types to employees using Exp.Ty. Permissibilty field in the master data of expense type.

And also for each expense type, you can have field control on additional receipt information through table V_T706B1_B.

As raynard said, it is not possible to hide certain fields, based on employee groups.
