Dialogue process with more number of errors

Hi

In one of my application server dialogue work process Error status turned in to red and has number. This means that many nuber of times that work process has ended with errors.

My question is as a basis consultant what should be my action. Can i restart that dialogue process> Restart after error...

How can i make it with no errors....

Take a BASIS course or go through SAP R/3 handbook

Dear Mahesh,

Some time the WP behaves like this due to many reasons , 1. If some is working on this due to network problem or any other reason his work is immediate stop , that time the WP reached in this state or END state due to memory buffer problems.

For that reason you need to check the SM50 --> process --> Details log for perticular WP.

Also I am agree with Jaun when you restart the system these WP's will be automatically come in WAIT state. or you can try to to do Cancel without core and refresh to free this WP.

Yes you can , but make sure work process should be on free that time.

Try to check the reason SM50 --> procces --> details

Hi,

Whats is your other work processes satus.

You need to check the logs file , dev_disp, dev_w0 log files.

Try to refresh the dialog work process through SM50.

Please revert if the problem again comes.

I don't understand the need to clear it... it doesn't represent an issue and assuming you investigated what cause the WP to crash it will be cleared the next time the system is restarted.
