Hi Vikas,

We have few options available like 1. Lot for lot 2. Fixed Lot 3. Period lot sizing procedure.

Which are you using ?

Will you please elaborate "New lot size is configiured' on this ?

Vikas,

Lot size in SCM is not configured in the same way as in ERP. This is why expert Datta has asked you for more detail.

Most lot sizing data is carried directly in the Product Master. Here you can make changes to create a lot sizing functionality that meets your business needs.

Some of this Lot Size Data is transparently CIF'd across from the ERP Material Master, so if you are lucky, and you have a pretty generic ERP Lot size, you may not have to do anything else. Just let the Core Interface create the lot size automatically.

Some customized Lot size info is, unfortunately, not transparently CIFd across. For this situation, you first need to manually create the lot info in a sample Product Master in SCM. Once you have created, tested, and finalized this SCM lot sizing functionality, you have a few options. You can create a business policy where each new product master is manually updated by users, you can create a mass change program in SCM to periodically update the Product masters to match your requirements, or you can invoke one of the userexits to automatically update SCM product masters to your specifications.
