SAP MDM Integration with CRM and APO

Hi SDners,

This is a Parts Master Data Solution for one of the Largest Auto Manufacturer where SAP MDM will be the central hub of all the Global and Local attributes of Parts . The subscribing system is SAP SCM APO and SAP CRM . Please advice if there is any possibility of direct integration between APO -MDM and CRM-MDM without using the standard MDM -PI -ECC Interface and then replicating the data from ECC to APO and CRM.

APIs / WS - custom code needs to be written in any case

for the interfacing part b/w CRM - MDM you could probably look into the CRM middleware part (like PI in case of ECC/SRM)

Hi Prabuddha,

I have not worked in such a scenario but as ECC-MDM scenario works with ABAP APIs so they should also work for CRM and APO,will have to confirm that, these are based on OOPS concept except that classes are already defined by SAP. You can use the function modules instead if you are not that much familiar with API concept. These FM's intern calls API's to communicate with MDM.
