Unable to edit sales text

We are finding that users are unable to directly edit the sales text that has been copied from the customer master record.

In order to edit the text they must first delete it. I have reviewed the config and cannot find any settting that would be driving this. Also I cannot replicate in any of our test clients. Is there a setting or authorization issue that I am over looking?

Hi,

You can select Unblock the Text Icon while coming in the Sales Order. In such case , user can edit the Text.

However consult with your Basis if this Icon is included in the Authorization Object.

Hi GJMCMC,

In the text Determination Procedure for Customer(SD) with t code VOTXN goto change and check one field is Ref/Duplicate, tick it and check if its working with it.

I have tried both with the reference field ticked and un-ticked. It made no difference..

My test ID was able to edit however the users cannot.
