Translation Issue

Hi All,

I have created a new Adobe form. Now I want to translate the static text. However, when I goto Translation, the new texts are nowhere to be found in the xml (either source or target). I have copied source to target etc etc but the static text is no where to be seen.

<xliff xmlns:xft-xliff="http://www.xfa.org/schema/xfa-xliff/1.0/" version="1.1"><file datatype="XDP" original="mytemplate.xdp" product-name="Adobe Designer" source-language="de" tool="AdobeDesigner"/></xliff>

The text I created is no where. Please provide your valuable inputs

Hi Abhi,

For static text you can use "floating field" and translate value in this floating field. For inserting floating field edit the text in the layout and right click over the text inside it, select floating field from the pop-up. Now out your text inside this floating field and use this for translation.

I tried that option too but still nothing seems to appear in the XML code in translation. What could be the reason ?

Guys, This issue is specific to ALCD version 9. I downgraded to version 8 and it works.
