system copy misunderstanding

Hello.

We want to do migration SAP ERP from one system to another.

The source system is SAP ERP 6.0 EHP4.

I am very confused about the following.

The source system has a kernel 7.01 (due to EHP4 upgrade as you know).

But HOW can we begin to install SAP ERP target system with kernel 7.01?

There are no ERP Installation Master based on 7.01 on SAP Software Download Center.

Only installation Master based on NW 7.0 SR3 are there.

As you understand we cannot import data in the target system (7.0) from the source system (7.01).

Please advice us what should we do.

I can see under "My Company's Software"-> SAP ERP" --> SAP ERP ENHANCE PACKAGE"-> EHP4 FOR SAP ERP 6.0 / NW7.01.

Do you mean that is really what is needed for installation ERP/NW 7.01?

But I see there two Installation Master disks (target system - AIX platform):

51038620_1 BS 7 SR1 Installation Master AIX 64bit

51040127_1 NW 7.01 SR1 Inst. Master AIX 64bit for Oracle 10.2/11.2

From what disk i should the installation of target system and following the import?

Hi Igor,

If your database is Oracle 10g/11g running on AIX 64 bit then choose the below installation master :

51040127_1 NW 7.01 SR1 Inst. Master AIX 64bit for Oracle 10.2/11.2

otherwise choose the first installation master.

Have you searched under Installation upgrade> ERP> Enhancement Pack 4 ?
