Layout in SFP Tcode not working.

Hi Experts,

I have installed SAP ECC 6.0 with SAP GUI 720 release .

I want to design a Adobe form , when am trying the Layout tab in the form design am getting an error

"Could not start Layout Designer (see long text)".

Then i installed Adobe LiveCycle designer ES 2 from Adobe site .

After that also am getting the same error

Please tell me how to configure Adobe LiveCycle designer ES 2 on my SAP GUI in details.

I have the same problem. SAP GUI is 7.40,  adoble life cycle designer is version 11.01.*

When I want to start the layout of a pdf-form, I get the error.

Does somebody have an idea how to resolve this problem?

I to face the same issue i installed adobe life cycle designer 7.0 but issue is not resolved.

Can i have the suggestion.

Version 7.0 is really, really outdated. See comments above you'll need to download a version from SAP's Service Market Place. Not only does the Adobe version not work you are also not licensed to use the Adobe version.

Hi Aisurya ,

Indeed you need the adobe life cycle designer of SAP, you can also find it on the SAP installation CD.

Some ICF services need to be configured.

Hi Aisurya,

ALDC downloaded from ADobe won't work for SAP GUI. You have to use one downloaded from service market place(service.sap.com). You must have valid credentials to download the designer from there.
