Who did table re-organ. ?

Hello,

This morning, my SAP system hang for about 2 hours (11:30 am - 13:30 pm) though it resumed suddenly.

But I still need to find out the root cause of it.

I found my SAP did table reogran. from 11:00 am to 11:30 am this morning. I double it will be the cause of system hang.

Who did this table re-ogran. ?

I haven't set any crontab job (either root user or oraprd user) to do table reorg.

DB13 t-code showed me : No SAP schedule was set to do table reorg.

From the sap table reorg. log file, I found the message :

BR0134I Unattended mode with 'force' active - continuing processing with default reply 'cont'

(1)Who started table reogra. ?

(2)Was this table reorg. the cause of my SAP system hang this morning ?

Hello Ming,

1. Oracle will probably simply tell you it was user SYS. You can't expect much help from Oracle here.

Is your database running on Windows or Unix? On Unix you could check who was logged on during the critical time frame:

last | more

2. Did you check ST03 to see what SAP says about the critical timeframe? Were the wait times high? Or the database time?

Check the ADDM reports what Oracle says happened during the time of the hang situation.

Regards,

Mark
