Hello,
I installed SAP MaxDB Database Studio 7.8. . So far so good.
I'm missing the Data Cache Usage / Occupation. Where can that be found?
Best regards Martin Koch

Hello Martin,
1. Run Administration as DBM user using DB studio for your database instance, on the right you will see the Caches Tab - select it to display the Information About Caches (Working Memory Areas), database is online.
See more details in Documentation of SAP MaxDB Database Version 7.8 at
http://maxdb.sap.com/doc/7_8/default.htm
=> Review "Displaying Information About Caches (Working Memory Areas) " at
http://maxdb.sap.com/doc/7_8/b5/83c195f877487f999d607d993f931d/content.htm
http://maxdb.sap.com/training/
=> Session 2: Basic Administration with Database Studio
2. "Data cache usage" could be displayed in LC10 when you monitor the liveCache instance.
Is your database instance LVC type?

Hello Natalia,
thank you for your support.
Yes, the db type is liveCache.
I know, that the Data Cache Usage can be found under:
1. Transaktion LC10: liveCache: Monitoring / Memory Areas / Caches / Data Cache Usage.
2. The "old" MaxDB Database Manager 7.6: Information / Caches / Data Cache Usage.
But under the new SAP MaxDB Database Studio 7.8. there is no Data Cache Usage information or I can't find it.
You say
"1. Run Administration as DBM user using DB studio for your database instance, on the right you will see the Caches Tab - select it to display the Information About Caches (Working Memory Areas), database is online."
But there I can't find the Data Cache Usage.
Best Regards, Martin Koch
