Question on Exploded BOM when copy the contract.

Hi ,

I have a contract xyz with BOM main component material and sub components materials.

when i create contract XYZ,sub component materials are hide, if i save the contract and open the contract those subcomponents materials will open (explode) and show in the screen.

Now I try to create a contract (type Zxx ) with a contract reference (type Zxx ) .For now I have an issue because in my new contract the system re-explode the BOM which I donu2019t want.

Please guide me how to overcome this problem.

and also please check the Item category for that document type

In item category also we can maintain BOM details

Hi,

Please check in copy control for items (VTAA). There you can switch off "Rexplode / free goods".
