Hi,
When a header condition is entered in a sales order, how will this get distributed
across the line item levels?
Is there a specific place where we can define this?
Thanks in advance,
by default it is distributed proportionally across the total value of each item
You can however change this to be distribute based on weight, volume etc. in the base value column in the pricing procedure.
If needed, you can even customize your own base value by going into VOFM and creating your own condition base value
let me know if you need more info

Hi Hin,
Yes, appreciate if you can provide more infor.
Eg - say we add a discount of 100 at header level across 3 line items having 30, 50, 10 qties.
Can you please let me know how the discount will be distributed?
Also what are the config changes that we need to do in order do the discount to get distributed.
Can we define equal distribution of an amount across line items or would it be based on the qty?
thanks in advance.
Kase,
Clarification to my post. In the condition type, if you select header AND group condition, then the discount will be distributed as follows:
item1: 30
item2: 50
item3: 10
(This only applies if all items are the same price, since by default it is based on VALUE). You can change this to be based on qty by changing the base value in the pricing procedure
If you do not have 'group condition' selected in the condition type, then all 3 items will be assigned the discount of 100
I hope that helps
Kase,
Please check the link to see if any of the condition base values meet your requirements:

If not, you will have to make your own in VOFM
thanks,
create the header condition type as an group condition, then it would be distribute across the line items.
Thanks ,
