Error occurred while processing SAP SQL Tools for SQLServer (Database Copy)

Hello,

We are currently running ERP 6 EP4 support stacks 6. Two weeks ago we

refreshed our sandbox from QAS system and installed support stack 9 for

testing. Kernel was also upgraded from sp69 to sp137 as a part of the

support pack installation.

This week, I was asked to do another refresh of sandbox from the QAS system. As the

kernel was upgraded before to sp139, I copied back the previous kernel

file sp69 to the kernel folder and started refresh process as usual.

When I was running SAP for SQL, it ran successfully thorugh all the

steps but failed in the final steps with the following error logs:

We figured it out. Had to restore a backup of the license file and restore it. Also, needed the Env. variable PATH set where the license file resides.

We don't think so. We copied off the upper kernal folder first. Then, upgraded the kernal, then when we couldn't get past the SQL Tools for SAP, we put the original folder back (older version of kernal). Same results for both. The last refresh we did for sandbox worked fine.

Hello Linda,

Can you check if there is any other log being updated during that time stamp in the log directory which can give some more information.

What I can make out seeing the log is its unable to reach saplicense .exe executable. I hope you are using SIDADM or administrative user to do this task.

It seems from the log files that there are some file missing on Kernel directory. have you tried to update kernel once again and resume your database copy ?
