HR Implementation in XI landscape

Hi Experts,

My client is looking to implement HR module.

What are the special scenarios when HR is being implemented and XI is the integration tool.

What will be the client looking at? Say in the interview point of view....

Are there any special IDocs, User Exits and things like that...with HR module.

Hi,

Major kind of interactions would be

Employee

Payroll

Appraisals

Promotion

Leave - Leave Encashment Days

Loans and Advances

HRMD_A.HRMD_A06 is a commonly used IDOC.

In case of MDM you can check the MDM business content in the service market place where you can also find the Employee55 structure (Standard business content).

Thanks,

Prakash

Hi Naveen,

One "classic" Interfacing scenario would be time management - sending time from clock time attendance into the Hr module from any time attendance server.

You have to keep in mind that you send Process data between systems so always look for the business process before starting to integrate systems using the XI.

This thinking will lead you to the right interfacing method and scenario.

I give you a link to the Interface repository of SAP,although it was declared obsolete by SAP you can still understand what interfaces objects already exists and ready to be used with minor modification in order to integrate HR.

If you need anything please don't hasitate to ask.

Hi Nimrod,

Apart from the time mgt scenario:

What other types of data could be trasnfered into HR and out of the HR system. (specially related to personal management or benefits mgmt.)

What methods would be used for each of those data types. (idoc, bapi, etc).

Would appreciate your help.

Thanks
