Issuing/transferring material to a specific WBS/activity

Hi,

I have a requirement where I need to transfer materials from one WBS to a specific WBS.

Is there any setting/develpment which can cater to this requirement?

You can use movement type 415 Q in MB1B.

Hi,

Perhaps I did not explain clearly enough...the requirement is that the material is issued to only a PARTICULAR WBS element only-not ANY WBS element.

For example....i have wbs elements of different types like say steel and cement i different projects.So when i use 415 Q then i can make a transfer posting from steel WBS to another steel WBS element only and not cement and vice versa.

may be you can set up a validation based on project type. Use one project type for all WBS element related to one for example project type steel should be assigned to all WBSE related to steel. and the validation should check while transfer posting whether project type of both wbse are same or not.

check with MM/abaper consultant about the user exist availability in mb1b txn. there you can maintain the validation with combination of project type and movement type 415Q as suggested by abdul.
