CUP User Data Source - UME

Experts,

In our environment, we have a secured LDAP. Therefore, we connected the LDAP to our UME and we are using UME as our authentication source, user data source and user detailed data source in CUP.

In order to get the necessary fields from LDAP into the UME, we modified the configuration XML file.

My question is now, how do we change the mapping from UME into CUP? CUP provides us the ability to map LDAP fields to CUP but there is no option for UME mapping into CUP.

Let me give you an example.

Location in LDAP is stored in "l"

We are storing this location in "City" in UME

How do we bring this into the "Location" field of the request for of CUP?

Please advise if you have any experience. I have to imagine this is a common scenario as most companies use SSL.

Hi Grace,

As per my knowledge, you can't integrate multiple sources to validate the user and get the user information. You will have to get the data updated in the LDAP and connect the CUP to the LDAP or just use UME.
