Hi,
Web AS supports LDAP dictionaries to store data of the UME. Is there a LDAP-server included in the release verion, or only a db?
Thanks and Regards
Alexander
Hello,
this is an older post, however I would be happy to get to know if you managed to use the OpenLDAP with the EP.
Which LDAP-configuraton file did you use?
Thanks in advance
Thomas

Hi ... Alexander, you can try to install an openLDAP server and connect it with your WAS server using the configtool.bat . Onec connected , you can see how it works between openLDAP server and WAS server when you create a new user through LDAP server or through WAS server .... Have fun !!

Hi Bogi,
You can add LDAP server to the UME, if only the current data source is JAVA database. By changing the current data source to any other LDAP datasource+database.
You can add Microsoft AD, Novell, Sun one LDAP etc withe the database as your data source.
You can add maximum 5 datasources to UME.

Hi Alexander,
the implemented store for UME is done in DB only (for EP installation). The support for LDAP only exists to support existing LDAPs in then enterprise.
Hope it helps
