Source Inspection

Hi Experts,

We want to do source inspection. My requirement is as below:

1. We do inspection at vendor place by ourself & some time by third party. How & where do we maintain third pary in system.

2. There are differece in inspection. When we perform inspection at vendor's place we take only two test ( inspect only 2 MIC's )

& after GR again we perform inspection at our place. How to maintain this two different inspection plan & how do we assign

inspection plan at source inspection & normal inspection.

Pls help.

For third party:

If you create a Third party person as inspector & have each inspector logon to the computer ...the tool bar display in lower right corner can show the logon/Inspector name.

For Different Inspection plan;

You can maintain Inspection type 0130 in Source inspection QM view & 01 in inspection type in QM view.

Now you can have different "Task list usage" for different inspection type..This can solve problem of different MIC's in differnet task list.

Means during Soource inspection inspection lot of 0130 & task list of relevent usage used

whereas for 01 after GR nornal usage 05 will be used.

My second problem has been solved.

Suppose we have created vendor code for third party then how do we assign this vendor to source inspection inspection lot.

And could you please tell me where do the tool bar display in lower right corner can show the logon/Inspector name.

Prcticallyof no use as vendor in lot is always reflected form the PO which will be the manufacturer & not third party.

Only possible solution seems here is to use the third party as SAP user ........

Explopre the screen of result recording !! there you will find the inspector name as login name & you can change the it also.
