(I'm trying to develop my
3. What development environment do I need for developing in WD Java and where do I get it?
Thanks for any help with this!
Hi Kenneth,
If you use the WDJ then you only able to use the RFC or BAPI to connect to SAP system. if you use the WDA then you can access everything in SAP system. which development enviroment you want to use is up to you depends upon the compitancy,
For the development in WDJ, you need to work on NWDS.

if you know abap, then go with web dynpro abap.
WDJ can only access RFC enabled function module.
you need NWDS to start the development
you can download it from service market. you can ask the basis to get it for you.
