check your SNC library (sapcrypto.dll). Is it loaded succesfully?

Hi markus ,

We are facing the problem after we updated the License according to this link

http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/Basis/HowtorenewtheSAPRouterlicense

There was no error during the Router license renewal .

Please find the below saprouttab file.

Hi,

I could see that you are just executing saprouter -r, please execute with full syntax

\saprouter directory\saprouter -r -G routerlog -S 3299 -K "p:<distinguish name>"

For eg:

\saprouter directory\saprouter -r -G routerlog -S 3299 -K "p:CN=hostname, OU=12345, OU=saprouter, O=SAP, C=DE"

-K will saprouter to start with SNC and load cryptographic lib

Hi SBK ,

We have run the command saprouter -r -G routerlog -S 3299 -K "p:CN=hostname, OU=12345, OU=saprouter, O=SAP, C=DE"

But we are getting the error , SNC processing failed , SncsetMyNameU

We have also checked sapgenpse get_my_name -v -n Issuer . Everything is OK .

We have renewed the license with a diffrent OS user , not with the one which did the SAP Router Installation . Is that the reason we are facing the errors ?

Hi,

Did you replace CN=hostname, OU=12345, OU=saprouter, O=SAP, C=DE with your company's distinguish name.

Ensure that you are starting saprouter on the same hostname which you registered with SAP and also the public ip should be same.

We have renewed the license with a diffrent OS user , not with the one which did the SAP Router Installation . Is that the reason we are facing the errors ?

Can you be more clear on the above sentence.

Hi ,

Yes we did replace the /CN=hostname, OU=12345, OU=saprouter, O=SAP, C=DE/ with company's distinguished name . We did start saprouter on the same hostname which we registered with SAP and also the public ip is same.

We installed the SAPROUTER with a diffrent O/S user and now renewing the SAP license with a new user with admin privelage. The user with which SAP router was installed doesnot exist in the domain currently .

Hi,

Initially during saprouter configuration, you would execute a command

sapgenpse seclogin -p local.pse -O <username>

So you should try to start the router the username which you entered in the above command. Ensure that you start with the same else it will fail.

If that user was deleted, execute the above command with new user and it will update ur local.pse file.

SBK
