SMARTFORM ---> PDF format in the Spool

Hi,

Iu2019d like to know if it is possible to give some parameters in the PDF properties when creating a PDF file (SMARTFORM ---> PDF format in the Spool). I currently use RSTXPDFT4 in order to convert data Spool to PDF.

Hi,

When you create a PDF via RSTXPDFT4, you are converting an already created spool to PDF. The spool has already been created with certain properties like page format, landscape etc.

You can create a spool via device type PDF1 and set some properties when creating the spool.

Thank you for your answer, but my question was wrong, sorry. Actually, Iu2019d like to modifiy the inner properties of a PDF file, such as printing, copy, extraction of pages, etc. Do you have an idea to modify these settings?

Hi Madhu,

It's for Human Resources Module. The goal is to make PDF documents available users in view mode only, without being able to print or send/extract/copy them.

As per the SAP note:

841850 - Unsupported PDF features with OTF conversion

these features are not supported by the SAP PDF conversion. Some alternative possibilities are described.
