Hi experts,
I'm facing a problem with support packages. Everytime I try to import any SAP_HR or SAP_APPL support package, an R3trans.exe error occurs and import finishes with return code 7777.
I know this problem is well known. I've read all the SAP Notes concerning this issue. I've updated my kernel to the latest patch. So my R3trans.exe and dboraslib.dll are updated. I've also updated my oracle db to the latest version 9.2.0.8. I also downloaded Visual C Runtime library pack from marketplace.
The interesting thing is that I was able to upgrade my SAP_BASIS and SAP_ABA with no problems at all.
R3trans crashes with this error:
szAppName : R3trans.exe szAppVer : 6400.378.19.6891
szModName : msvcr71.dll szModVer : 7.10.7031.4 offset : 0000b175

It almost feels like something changed after SAP_BASIS and SAP_ABA upgrade. But I really don't know what or why.
Is there anything I'm missing or anything I could try?
My system info:
WIN Server 2003
Oracle DB 9.2.0.8
R/3 Enterprise IDES
Kernel release: 640
Patch level: 378
Additional info:
I'm always logged as <SID>adm. I tried r3trans -d and connection is OK.
Thank you for any help,
Regards
Jan Havela
HI ,
Could you please follow below oss note to resolve the error :
Note 1274493 - Windows: TP/R3trans might terminate with old DB library

There are couple of things that you need to look:
1) Upgrade of IDES system is not supported.
2) Oracle 9.2.0.8 is very old release.
Thanks
Sunny
