Hi,

Extract the latest SU24 text files and upload them as per the procedure mentioned in the post installation guide. Perform full sync of User, role and profile using the Background job options in the Configuration menu.

Also generate the rules from the configuration tab, Rule Upload, Generate Rules.

This will get you the custom authorization objects.

Raghu

Hi,

Ensure that the transaction code in question has it's SU24 entries updated within the system and across the landscape.

Then, as per the post-installation steps, perform the following two extraction programs to extract the reports you upload into RAR.

u2022 /VIRSA/ZCC_DOWNLOAD_DESC

u2022 /VIRSA/ZCC_DOWNLOAD_SAPOBJ

It is worth pointing out the obvious that the RTA's must be installed on the SAP system you wish to perform this task on, as these programs are contained in the GRC RTA.

Once this is done, you should be able to now add the new custom auth object/permission to the transaction code in the function etc.

Hi,

The downloads and uploads are required if you want to add the transactions and objects through searching for them in Rule Architect. However, you should be able to add them manually as text through standard function maintenance.

Or, if you use the upload processes, then you can add them to the source files in the same way as you do with standard values.
