Hi,

We have upgraded the system from SRM 4 to SRM 7, As in srm 4 the vendors were visible in PPOMA_BBP. Now in SRM 7 vendor are maintained in ppomv_bbp. My question is how it is maintained, If we replicate the vendor from R/3 then the vendor structure is maintained in PPOMV_BBP (or ) we need to maintain the structure in PPOMV_BBP.

Regards

Sam

The structure itself was wrong. As per SRM version <4 where the structure can be like within a node can be a sub node and another sub node. But when we try to replicate the structure then it was giving the error. what we have done is we have modified the structure in PPOSA_BBP and then replicated the structure which worked

Hi,

In SAP SRM 7.0 there is a separate org structure for External business Partners (ie. Vendors). The Hierarchy is called External Org Structure.

The following might help you:

PPOCA_BBP > Create root organization nodes for users of organization.

PPOMA_BBP > Change the Org Structure (internal).

PPOSA_BBP > Displays the Org Structure (internal).

PPOCV_BBP > Create root nodes for Vendors (ie. External Business partners).

PPOMV_BBP > Change the Org Structure (External).

PPOSV_BBP > Displays the Org Structure (External).

As Nikhil suggested you can use BBPGETVD in SRM to pull vendors from ECC by putting either the BP # or the range of BP #.

Hi Sam,

Yes in SRM 7.0, all your vendors will be replicated under PPOMV_BBP and not PPOMA_BBP (SRM 4).

First create a vendor root using PPOCV_BBP, then use BBPGETVD to pull R/3 vendors. In the screen that shows up, give your source system (ECC), object id should be your just created vendor root, and you may choose 'only transfer R/3 numbers' before you start transfer.
