You need to install the .NET Connector v3 MSI file on the server or developer's PC. Then you will need to make an entry in the web configuration file for the Microsoft IIS server so that the Connector can be found by Visual Studio and/or IIS. Furthermore the Connector has it's own configuration file where you insert the SAP server information. I hope this was helpful.
