At present it picks the value from order only
when we do change the BOM it doesnt pick the new value based on the updated BOM
instead of that it picks the old value (value updated on the first production order creation)
In standard
test certificate value is updated from sales order or production order?
i check with sales order whether inspection lot is used in sale order
i could not find it
how can we pick the updated value to test certificate
if we update the configuration in sale order will ti update in production order leads to test certificate
i saw is there any option available to upate the configration data in sales order
but i could not find
i explain to user that material master update should not update the sale order
he asked me how can i get the correct value to test certificate

Untill & unless you create new order with new configuration & make same changes in "Certificate Profile" ,Updated specification will not appear in newly created certificate.

Have you created certificate profile in QC01
Maintain the below steps to create Quality Certificate:
1. Create a Certificate profile in QC01
2. Assign the Characterstics
3. Assign the Material, Inspection Origin and Inspection type
4. Assign the cerificate profile to material in QC17
5. Create the Quality Cerificate in QC20
