Material item does note exist

Hello everybody.

I have a problem when I start a sales order.

A message appears saying that (Material ZTNL item does not exist in the center / warehouse)

The message that appears is

Material in item ZTNL does not exist in plant/storage location

Message no. V1478

Diagnosis

The material of item ZTNL does not exist in this plant/storage location, from which the delivery should be carried out, or there could be other reasons for this message:

The material does not exist.

The plant or the country of the plant does not exist.

The material is marked for deletion.

The storage location does not exist.

Procedure

Check these reasons.

The meaning of this message maybe -

Material does not exit in plant / storage location. You are using these plant, st location for creating sales order.

First go to MM01, type in -

Material #

Industry

Material type

Copy from (same) Material #

Then give plant, storage location, Sorg, Dchan. save.

System shall say "Material # extended to ......."

Then create new sales order and check.

During delivery, you would have to have stock from these plant and st loc to do Picking & PGI - MB1C

Hi,

While creating material you would not have maintained the ware house there fore go to MM50 and from do F8 and you will be asked for the material, enter your materal and then you will be taken to your material. Now at this point you update the ware house 1 and save it. Your problem will be solved.

Maybe you have to EXTEND MMR (material master record) to that Warehouse no. in MM01
