Open the STANDBY database , when the PRIMARY is lost

Hello,

Our Standby database is in MOUNT mode

I want to get this standby DB in to production environment (when the primary DB is lost)

kindly let me what are the things need to consider , when getting the Standby DB in to production

- Since standby DB is in mount mode , we need to open that.

- How can we run CI, EN, MS in standby

- What are the sequences to start them

(note that DATA_GUARD is not configured)

what are the other things needs to consider.

Hi,

When you want to start standby database. Just cancel its database recovery and set database in open mode. Then start SAP application installed on your standby database.
