NWDI track connection set up for transport

Hi,

I am into settting up a NWDI track connection for DEV,QTS and PRD systems.

DEV & QTS - Track 1

PRD - Track 2

How to link the tracks (1 & 2) for transport sequence DEV,QTS & PRD

I would appreciate your valuable inputs.

Hi,

This is how I have set it up in my landscape.

Create a New Track specifically for the production system. Make sure to leave the DTR and CBS URL fields as empty. This is because no developments are being done in this track and it is only being used for approval and imports to production system.

Add the production system as the Runtime System in the Production tab.

Create a track connection from the Dev Track to the production track as follows:

Track Connection type: Transport.

Option: Transport developed software components

Note: When any components are approved under the Approval tab of source (dev) track, the entries will come in automatically to the target (prod) track.
