Hi All
We are using SRM 7.0 with HR integration.
When a user changes position in HR, the same is relayed over to SRM and it wipes out all the defaults set for the user
(like delivery address, plant, cost centre etc)
Is there a way to carry over the old attributes when a user changes position or at least notify the user to reassign their defaults
Thanks
Kedar
Hello Kedar,
For our client we had built a custom report that takes the back up of all the attributes of the users in the Org and stores in a common repository.
Hence in case even the entire org strucutre is dissolved the attributes back up remain and we restore them.
Try viewing the standard report : RHCDOC_DISPLAY in SRM
Regards,
Catherine

Kedar,
Other than the custom program/table solution suggested by Velu, did you find an SAP standard approach to solve this issue?
Thank you,
John

Store the attribute values in a ztable when you load the data for the first time from HR. Using this ztable update the attributes using the update attributes function module. when the data comes again for this user from HR, Check for attribute values in the incoming doc and if they are empty, then don't overwrite the ztable attribute value. if there are some changes, only over-write them in the ztable. Load the attributes from ztable again using the function module
Hope this helps.
