Failed to Open Document Error

Hello,

I have currently created a document in CV01N and checked in the document, however when I go to display the document in CVO3N I get a "FAILED TO OPEN DOCUMENT" pop up box. Has anyone run into something similiar to this? if so how do I fix it? Thanks.

There could be several reasons for this error.Would have to investigate this further.

For starters,could you confirm if you have maintained a 'Data Carrier' in DC20 in customizing? If yes,please post the parameter values.

Yes I have done the setup in DC20, here are my parameters:

Now when I tried to check in the document in CV01N I got the following informational error "SAP archiving for document type DRW maximum 0 bytes: file has 537,952 bytes" . Do you think this has something to do with it, how would I fix that error? Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ok. What storage option are you using for parking your documents? Please note that if its kPro, then the file size that you have defined for your Document Type will be redundant.
