During the Create Inboud Delivery (VL31N)
After I had put the storage location in this transaction, the system shows the message u201CMaterial 10018978 1100 cannot be used in inbound delivery because QM is activeu201D. This storage Location is controlled by WM , this is a ROH Material and We need the QM actived but it was not possible to create inboud. What I have to configure in WM to accept this process ?
Marcos
Hi Marcos,
I have understood from the item 3 from Ramana's reply that you may perform goods receipt from MIGO for example right over the Purchase Order. It seems then VL31/VL31N cannot be used indeed.

Hi Marcos,
************************************************************************
The error message is basically correct because the use of a QM-relevant
material in inbound deliveries is currently only possible on a
restricted basis.
1. If the item of an inbound delivery is relevant for a HU-managed
storage location, a QM-relevant material can also be used. If the
"Inspection for HU" indicator is set in the relevant inspection type
(01 Goods receipt inspection for order), an inspection lot is
created when handling units are created in the inbound delivery. If
this indicator is not set, no inspection lot is created. An
inspection lot is not created either in the later goods receipt
posting for the inbound delivery.
2. If the item of an inbound delivery is relevant for a
decentrally-managed storage location, system behavior is identical
to the one above with active handling unit management. This behavior
is produced by the attached correction. To date, the above error
message L9528 appeared in such a constellation.
3. If an item of an inbound delivery is relevant for an integrated WM
management storage location, the system still generates error
message L9528 since this process is not currently supported. In this
case, you cannot carry out your goods receipt processing via an
inbound delivery but can only carry out it via a goods receipt
posting to the purchase order.

Kind regards,
Ramana
