20 CRVP 20 30

30 BDGP 20 40

40 PLDN 40 50

50 BREL 40 70

60 PJRL 40 70

70 EXEC 40 90

80 RVPL 70 90

90 BUDT 70 90

Case -1 :- i am changing version as INIT -> 10 -> 20 -> 30 -> 40 ->50 -> 60 ->70 ->50 ->60 it is working fine

Case -2 :- i am changing version as INIT -> 10 -> 20 -> 30 -> 40 ->50 -> 60 ->70 ->80 ->90 ->70 -> 50 it is not allowing

Error is coming as :-

Diagnosis

User status 'BREL' has reference number 50. In the current object status 'WBS RF/3004' the reference number of a status must be at least 70.

Procedure

You can only set user status whose reference number is at least 70.

pls suggest what is the issue..

Hi,

You have to understand the logic of Lowest and Highest status number, whenever you change the user status the new status overwrites the rule of old status and would allow to change the status whose reference number (status number) comes under Lowest and Highet status number.

Say for example you have three statuses as mentioned below

Status No. Status Lowest Highest

1 INIT 1 3

2 PRO 2 3

3 WBS 1 3

As shown above, your initial status is INIT from which you can set status PRO and WBS as it allows to set from 1 to 3.

Once you set PRO, after that you want to set INIT system won't allow you to set and would through you an error message as mentioned in your mail, as it allows from 2 to 3 only means you can not go back to INIT but you can go to WBS (3).

Now, if you set WBS, system would allow you to set ack as INIT and PRO both from here as rule of Status Number 3 has been overwritten which allows to set from 1 to 3.

I hope this suffices the requirement.

Best Regards,

I guess the answer is there in your query itself. Read it carefully and you will find the answer.
