Dear All,
According to the scenario there are tons or 2tons kgs of calcium carbonate arrived from the vendor.....from which only 200gms is taken for sampling....but I am not able to put decimal point while creating sampling procedure.....Please suggest is there any other setting for maintaing the decimal point?
Regards,
Pawan Shetty
At transaction QP02 you can input 'G' for sample unit and '200' for 'sample quantity' or 'KG' and '0.2' on characteristic overview.
The sampling procedure determines a sample size and valuation mode, not sample quantity.
For example...
If a inspection characteristic is inspected with 100G and the inspection should be done twice,
you can input the sample quantity '100G' into inspection plan and sample size '2' into sampling procedure.
Regards
Luke

In MIC enter the UOM as gms & decimal places say 2.
