Hi All,
The BOM changes are successfully transferring to GTS system from ECC successfully thru change pointers, but newly created BOM's are not transferred to GTS thru change pointers. Need to understand like will BOM change pointers job transfer newly created BOM's or only it transfers BOM changes.
When i ran PLUG In program /SAPSLL/PLUGIN_CHECK_R3 in ECC, i saw no entry available for message type /SAPSLL/BOMMAT_SLL in TBD24 table, that means no entry for this message type in BD53 tcode.
Can some one confirm whether change pointer job transfers new boms or not.
Thanks in advance

Lakshmikanth

The change pointers job can push the New BOM's that are relevant for preference processing, but you need to ensure that the setup in GTS and ECC is correct and that the BOM is not changed.
Try pushing the BOM through the initial load program /SAPSLL/BOMMAT_DISTRIBUTE_R3 and note if it gives any error.

Hi Jasmit,
No issues with /SAPSLL/BOMMAT_DISTRIBUTE_R3 program, new BOM's also transferring successfully to GTS thru this program. BOM change pointer is not working for new materials. The BOM setup is correct in both in both systems, if the setup is not correct how BOM chnages are reflecting in GTS thru change pointer job. That means no issues with BOM config in both changes. May be some issues with message type configuration, the reduced message type setup is not existed for BOM in ECC, but this setup is mainly required for changes.
