Dynamically switchable parameter doesn't take effect immediately

Hi all,

I made a change on a dynamically switchable parameter rdisp/max_alt_modes using T-Code RZ11. (I.e Maximum of sessions allowed)

However, I found that the change didn't take effect immediately but only after half an hour something.

May I ask when will the dynamically switchable parameters take effect, is there anything I can do to trigger the change immediately?

Users have to log out and log in to take the parameter change.

Hi Chris,

Dynamically switches will effect on immediate basis.

It should be the buffer memory was not clear properly, Can you do cleanipc <SAPSYSTEM> remove.

May be it helps.
