How to create another SUP user besides SupAdmin?

Hi Guys,

When I Send an WF-DCN Message I have to put the SUP USER( i.e "to":"supAdmin") in order to send the Workflow to the device id mapped to supAdmin, and not the register user name of the Activation Procedure, so do yo know how to create another user besides SupAdmin ? Becasue I could't find in SCC the place to create more users. It suppose that each Device ID could be Mapped with each sup user? is that ok? Becasue I want to send a Workflow to different users and I don't know How to do it if I am not able to create more users.

Hi

Apache Directory Studio Browser will help you to create users other than supAdmin.

One the Apache Directory Studio Browser in the C:\Sybase\UnwiredPlatform\Servers\UnwiredServer\apacheds\studio, Create a new connection. LDAP -> New Connection.

Connection Name : <>
Hostname : <>
Port : <>
Encryption method : No encrytion

And Click the Check Network Parameter.

Authentication method : Simple
Bind DN/user : cn = Director Manager
Password : secret (default one)

Clikc the Check Authentication and then click Finish.

From the LDAP Browser, expand ou=users(5). supUser - New Entry

Select Use existing entry as template then click twice on Next : Indicate the name of the user and click Next. In the Attributes screen, double click on the userPassword field to define a new password : Do not change the Hash Method, the password will be encrypted automatically when the user is created.

Hi Matias,

If you open your SCC, from the menu bar, select Application > Administration.

In the Sybase Control Center Properties dialog, expand the Security folder.

Select Logins and click Create Login.

You can also create a group for these ones and you can assign a role.
