st01-trace is not working when tracing distant user

Hi everybody

I need to do trace for authorization on distant users, and when I'm trying to do that I always get the "no records" massage, but if the same user is logged in to my computer in different session, I can do the trace properly.

Is there any configuration that I can change to fix this problem?

Do you have more then once SAP Server. The trace you activate on ST01 is application server specific. This might be a case.

Thanks' Subhash, we do have several sap servers, but this is not the case. I'm logged in to the same server as the user that I'm trying to trace.

Did you try to remove the time button on ST01--> Analysis. It might be a time frame issue also.

I did not tried to remove the button, but what you said gave me an idea, I checked the time on the servers itself and found out that the time is not set up right on it, after fixing the time everything is working correct.
