Problem in cost transfer in static cost element in KB11N

Dear Experts,

When i am trying to transfer cost of Higher level WBS to Lowere level WBS with its Cost element then the cost is not getting tresnfer.

Error is because the cost element is Static.

Kindly put some value on it

Hi,

What is the cost element category are you using, is it 90, if it is 90 then it is only used for commitment generation against inventory account and for updation of Project inofrmation system, Statistical cost elements are created only againt balance sheet G/L accounts used in OBYc inventort settings.

So please check your cost element category in KA03. if it is statistical you cannot transfer the cost.
